In my country, our drug laws are extremely severe. Even the slightest infractions can bring swift justice. Years incarceration or sometimes worse. Recently I was quite disturbed to hear that my son, who attends the University of Ankara , had fallen in with a crowd of, mostly foreign students, well known for their caviler ways. Such as the smoking of Hashish. When I asked him of this, he would say only that his friends, and he, would never do such a thing. My name is Michelle Ferryman, and I am a single, urban mother living in downtown Chicago.
